SUDS 4 STUDENTS
West Valley Middle School is participating in a “SUDS 4 STUDENTS” campaign. We are seeking donations of hygiene and laundry products for families in need.
SUDS4Students is a non profit focused on discreetly meeting the hygiene needs of middle and high school students that otherwise wouldn’t have access to the products that they need. If parents have to choose between food and deodorant, food and shampoo, food and laundry detergent, or food and other hygiene items… Food Wins! When families have to prioritize basic needs, food will be at the top, and hygiene items will move further down or even off the list. Simply put, this means there are children that go to school everyday that have had to compromise or not meet basic hygiene practices that most of us take for granted everyday.
SUDS4Students partners with local schools to provide specific personal hygiene items and laundry detergent to middle and high school students that may otherwise not have access to these. Items include: laundry detergent, soap, tooth paste, tooth brushes, shampoo, and deodorant.
Please consider donating items. There is a collection box in the main hallway. West Valley students have set a goal of 1000 items and if our goal is reached students will be allowed to participate in a hat day! Please help out with this worthy cause.
PTSA nominating committee is forming now. Email us at email@example.com if you are willing to help PTSA next year. No experience necessary, all are welcome! We would love to get to know you better.
The School Clinic is in need of volunteers. If interested, please contact Kelsey Mitchell, firstname.lastname@example.org
