PTSA Membership Drive
The PTSA membership drive is August 20th- August 31st
Parents should receive information home with their child this week. Included will be a membership envelope, information about how to join and why families should consider joining and a permission slip for the Glow-in-the-Dark Membership Bash (entrance to the bash require a PTSA membership).
Glow-in-the-Dark Membership Bash will be Friday, 9/14 6-8pm
Bearden Baseball Boot Camp
Bearden Baseball Boot Camp starts Monday, August 20th through Thursday, August 23rd from 5-7:30pm. Cost is $100 (checks made out to BBDC). The camp is not required in order to tryout for West Valley Baseball but is encouraged as the coaches will have more opportunities to see the players. Tryout date for WV baseball will be Saturday, August 25th. Time TBD.https://www.facebook.com/wvmsbaseball
The PTSA will be collecting box tops throughout the school year. Please bring them in a ziplock 50/bag to the school office or to your students home room teacher. Please remember to check expiration dates before sending them in. Please submit before October 5th for the first box top drive of the year.

Students who need to ride a different bus home than normal will need a parent note. These notes are to be brought to the main office for confirmation by the student upon arrival at school. Notes are then given back to the student with approval marked by the office staff. Bus drivers not receiving an approval note from the office will not allow a student to ride the bus.

*Please pay general school fee ($35.00) ! You can send in cash or check in to your child’s home room teacher or pay online. If sending in a check, please note that fees for band, orchestra, chorus, Advanced Art, Honors Spanish I should be paid with a separate check and please be sure to include your student’s name on the memo line – thanks! .https://osp.osmsinc.com/KnoxTN
*Cafeteria: Outside food (i.e. Chick-Fil-A, McDonald’s, etc.) will not be allowed in the cafeteria. If a parent brings in outside food, the student will eat in the counseling center/Guidance office across from the cafeteria. Parents cannot bring in food for other students/friends.
*Early Check-out: To protect instructional time, please avoid checking your child out after 3:00pm
