2018 WVMS Track
The 2018 Track season is just around the corner. New this year, pre try-out conditioning days. These will take place on Tuesday 2/6, Thursday 2/8, Tuesday 2/13 and Thursday 2/15 (3:30-4:30). Try-outs will begin on Tuesday, 2/20. A physical must be on file with Coaches West and Blair to participate in conditioning and try-outs. Physical forms can be found in Mrs. West’s office or download it from WVMS’s homepage under the activities tab.
2018 WVMS Boys Soccer
WVMS Boys Soccer kicks off this Saturday with an open-play session from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm at Sansom Sports Complex. Any boys interested in trying out for the 6th, 7th or 8th grade teams are welcome. Parents can pre-register players for tryouts online. Registration: http://bit.ly/wvmssoccer or for questions, please email email@example.com. Official tryout dates are Saturday 2/3 and Saturday 2/10. Participation in open play this weekend is optional.

The PTSA will be collecting Box Tops throughout the school year. If you have any you would like to send in, please either bring them into the school office or have your child turn them in to their homeroom teacher.
The final deadline for boxtops for this school year will be Friday, Janurary 26.
**Please note that we are not collecting Labels for Education.
Please check the expiration date of your Box Tops before sending them in.
Please make sure to indicate child’s name and homeroom on bag or envelope submitted so they receive credit.

Treats for Troops
Treats for Troops is a yearlong Student Council project that’s aimed at providing treats for those that serve our country. If you are able to donate any non-meltable snacks please send them into school after each break (Fall, Holiday, and Spring) and the Student Council will make sure that are passed along to our troops.
Note: It takes 2 weeks for items to reach the base and they need to be donated in boxes.
Examples of treats: Goldfish, peanut butter crackers, beef jerky, energy bars, gum, mints
