Serving Every Student, Every Day, With Ever Dollar
Battle of the Grades – November 1-21
Parents, Teachers, Grandparents, Staff and Neighbors of WVMS: Please consider a gift to the Foundation. All donations are tax-deductible according to IRS standards and all funds go towards the educational needs of WVMS students.
The winning grade will have an ice cream party!!
8th Grade – Pay it Forward
Show that you are the leaders of the school. You were the first class who benefitted all 3 years from the establishment of the Foundation.
Why the 8th Grade will win: The Class of 2022 wants to cement their legacy.
7th Grade – Basement Dwellers No More!
Show how much you love your school (and want to ensure your middle school maintains the 1:1 technology ratio).
Why the 7th Grade will win: The Class of 2023 is the largest class at WVMS.
6th Grade – Figuring Out This Middle School Thing
You figured out your locker combination and where all your classes are. You are no longer Rocky Hill, Bluegrass, Northshore or A.L. Lotts, you are WOLVES.
Why the 6th Grade will win: The Class of 2024 is so sweet and adorable.

The PTSA will be collecting Box Tops throughout the school year. If you have any you would like to send in, please either bring them into the school office or have your child turn them in to their homeroom teacher.
The final deadline for boxtops for this school year will be Friday, Janurary 26.
**Please note that we are not collecting Labels for Education.
Please check the expiration date of your Box Tops before sending them in.
Please make sure to indicate child’s name and homeroom on bag or envelope submitted so they receive credit.
For more information contact: Marianne Benson at firstname.lastname@example.org
Treats for Troops
Treats for Troops is a yearlong Student Council project that’s aimed at providing treats for those that serve our country. If you are able to donate any non-meltable snacks please send them into school after each break (Fall, Holiday, and Spring) and the Student Council will make sure that are passed along to our troops.
Note: It takes 2 weeks for items to reach the base and they need to be donated in boxes.
Examples of treats: Goldfish, peanut butter crackers, beef jerky, energy bars, gum, mints
It’s time to order your yearbook! If you send in an order to the school, your student can give it to his/her homeroom teacher or send it to Ms. Webster. Yearbooks are $55. Remember, as in years past, we will NOT be ordering extras.
As always, if you have any questions, please email Ms. Webster at email@example.com
8th Grade Baby Pictures
The deadline to send in baby pictures of your precious 8th grader to include in this year’s yearbook is November 24. Please send these into Brittany Webster at firstname.lastname@example.org
