Device Deployment

7th and 8th Grade Parents,
Two Device Deployment Notes:
RETURNING West Valley 7th and 8th grade families (students issued a device last year): This message is a reminder of our upcoming device deployment on Friday during school. As noted in a prior message, students should have brought home earlier in the week a form for completion BEFORE device deployment this Friday. This pink paper was is due back to their homeroom teacher, completed with initials and signatures at the bottom, by this Friday. If you have not seen this form, please check out the attached Technology Agreement. Feel free to download the signature page, complete it, and have your child return it to their homeroom teacher by Friday. Technology Agreement-2.docx 
NEW West Valley Middle School 7th and 8th grade families: Welcome, again, to the WVMS family! Since you and your child have not attended the device presentation at school, you will need to attend our deployment at WVMS offered on Monday, August 15 from 4:30 PM – 8:30 PM with our 6th grade families. To sign up for a time best for your family, please Sign Up here. NOTE: We expect this deployment to take about an hour.
Students will complete a digital citizenship program during school and, once it is completed school-wide, we will send out word for the date that students are expected to bring their fully charged and covered devices to school. Please remember that students will provide their own covers for their laptops this year. If ordering a cover ahead of time, the specifics about the devices are: MacBook Pro 13″ (circa 2012) / non-retina display.
